USF's Continuing Education department offers noncredit learning opportunities for professionals at all levels, companies and their employees, and older adults.

Professional and Workforce Development (PWD)

These noncredit programs are geared to help you  gain new, updated, or complementary knowledge and skills to:

  • Advance in your career field.
  • Maintain proficiency in your current positions.
  • Enhance abilities needed for advancement within your organization.
  • Prepare for a transition to a new career field or improve skills to return to the workplace.
  • Prepare for industry certification preparation exams.
  • Learn a foreign language to enhance travel/business experiences.
  • Review and prepare for college and graduate entrance exams.

  • Courses can be taken individually or often as a part of a non-credit professional certificate.

    Contract Training

    USF Continuing Education offers training courses in business, communication, languages, technology and project management for local companies and their employees.  Courses can be conducted at the company’s or USF’s facilities, and tailored to meet organizational initiatives.

    Osher Lifelong Learning Insitute at USF (OLLI-USF)

    USF Continuing Education also offers a variety of programming for active “older adults ” through its Osher LifeLong Learning Institute.
